How to convert Publisher to PDF file
Microsoft Publisher is
a great program for desktop publishing. Many small
business owners use Publisher to create newsletters,
brochures, flyers, product user manuals, catalogues, and
more. The problem is, finding the best way to
share or transfer these publisher files to employees,
commercial printers, and customers who don't use
Microsoft Publisher. The answer, covert the
Publisher files to PDF (Portable Document Format) so
anyone can view it. This article will teach you
how to convert Publisher file to PDF with the Now PDF
Writer. This is a very simple process that I
will outline in the steps below: Step One -
Create your document in Microsoft Publisher
Because the Now PDF
Writer does not have a working document window, you must
first complete your document in Microsoft Publisher
before you convert Publisher to PDF. Make
sure your Publisher document properties are set
correctly to what you want them to be in your created
PDF file that you intend to distribute. Set the
page size, margins, background, etc... so it will look
exactly the way you want your new PDF file to look.
Step Two - Print to Now PDF Writer printer
To convert your
Publisher file to PDF, select the 'File' menu and select
'print'. Then, from your list of installed
printers select the NowPDF Writer and click 'OK'

Important Note when you
convert Publisher to PDF: On the print
dialogue menu, do NOT select the 'print to file' option.
Selecting this option will bypass the Now PDF Writer and
create a .prn file instead of a .pdf file.
Step Three - Name and save your new Publisher to PDF
File
After selecting the Now
PDF Writer as a printer, software will prompt you name
your new PDF file and select a location to save the PDF
file. By default, Microsoft Publisher usually
opens to your My Documents folder. Make sure you
know where the PDF file will be saved to and select 'OK'
to complete the process of converting Publisher to a PDF
file.
