How to convert Word to PDF file
One of the most common
uses of the Now PDF Writer is creating a PDF file from
Microsoft Word (.doc to PDF) or another word-processor.
This is a very simple process that I will outline in the
steps below: Step One - Create your document
in Word
Because the Now PDF
Writer does not have a working document window, you must
first complete your document in Microsoft Word before
you convert Word to PDF. Make sure your
document properties in Word are set to what you want
them to be in the created PDF file. Set the .doc
page size, margins, background, etc... so it look
exactly the way you want your new PDF file to look.
Step Two - Print to Now PDF Writer printer
To convert your Word
doc to PDF, select the 'File' menu and select 'print'.
Then, from your list of installed printers select the
NowPDF Writer and click 'OK'

Important Note when you
convert Word to PDF: On the print dialogue
menu, do NOT select the 'print to file' option.
Selecting this option will bypass the Now PDF Writer and
create a .prn file instead of a .pdf file.
Step Three - Save and name your new Word to PDF File
At this point, the Now
PDF Writer software will prompt you to give your new PDF
file a name and select a location to save the PDF file.
By default, Microsoft Word usually opens to you My
Documents folder. Make sure you know where the PDF
file will be saved to and select 'OK' to complete the
process of converting Word to a PDF file.
